Users who upgrade to Windows XP Service Pack 3 will not be able to go back to Internet Explorer 6 Microsoft warns. If users really want to go back to the awful IE6 then they have to uninstall SP3 first, only then will the option to uninstall Internet Explorer 7 be available.

Service Pack 3 for Windows XP is now officially available from Microsoft and you can read more about it by looking at the related articles for this story.

By the way, have any of you installed the new beta version of Internet Explorer 8? If so, what are your thoughts on it or SP3 for XP?
